Featuring 129 seats under an impressive 52 1/2-foot dome, the Longway Planetarium is Michigan’s largest planetarium. For more than half a century, Flint’s Longway Planetarium has been a major resource of science education for students and families. The largest planetarium in the state, it has brought the stars to more than 2.5 million people since its opening on June 26, 1958.

Monday-Thursday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
Saturday: 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Sunday: 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Tickets: $6 adults, $4 Senior 60+, $4 youth age 2-11, members and 1 and under are free. ASTC reciprocal discount is $3 per person.
Combo Passes - Includes admission to Sloan Museum as well as Buick Automotive Gallery AND one show at Longway Planetarium.

First Friday

Join us the first Friday of each month at 6:00pm for a fun event or an interesting lecture about Space, nature, or the world around us. Cost is $6 adults, $4 Seniors 60+, $4 youth age 2-11, members are free, which includes admission to the 7:00pm show. Get details about this month's event here.
